Description
Chestnut honey is a particular honey obtained from chestnut flowers and harvested between June and October. It is a precious product of the Mediterranean areas and above all in Italy, where in the mountainous areas over 400 meters there are entire chestnut woods. Its bitter, not very sweet and very aromatic flavor means that it goes well with cheeses in general and even more so with caciotta, caciocavallo, goats, parmesan, blue cheeses.
